Book is in Very Good+ condition: light edge wear; apparently not read -- no creasing on spine. From the cover: "Alma Hershberger is a little lady who has worn many hats since taking off her Amish bonnet at the age of 14. In 1967, Mrs. Hershberger was one of the four co-founders of the Der Dutchman restaurant in Ohio, and mother of three. She has been a guest chef demonstrating Amish cooking, a lecturer on Amish life for schools and on radio and television. She acted in a pageant, and found time to write two cookbooks, with a new one in the works, a book for children on the Amish. She is revising an earlier reminiscence of her Amish childhood, 'Amish Life Through a Child's Eyes,' for re-publication in paperback."
