Museum of Texas Tech University, Lubbock, 2002. Two different books, each bound in grey cloth; they are together in one matching grey cloth slipcase. Each book is a catalog of an exhibit held at the Museum of Texas Tech University from June 2 to September 15, 2002. These two volumes together in the slipcase is scarce. Books are in Very Good+ condition: "Sacred Art" has a mark on the rear board; "Medieval Frescoes" has slight wear on boards; on both books, the binding and hinges are tight and square and the pages are clean and bright. No dust jackets. Slipcase is in Very Good+ condition: light shelf wear. Both books have many color illustrations.

From the artist's introduction: "My objects are artistic in that they dwell on everyday situations and on universal human emotions. Taking this into account, I came up with an idea: why not give these works an inner voice and have 'them' speak for themselves? Why not let them explain and expand on what they are and how the viewer or participant (if physical help is required) can help them perform their artistic objectives. (A few objects are still described in the normal literary style.) To finalize, my objects are what they are. They do not pretend to be anything else. They are not part of a manifesto or a movement. They are self-sustained objects that were created by a human being for others to see, experience and touch."
