Privately published, 1969. 12 unnumbered pages exclusive of the end pages and title page. In silver wraps, with silver sparkle effect on outer covers. Rear end page says, "This excerpt from The Old Librarian's Almanack represents a literary hoax perpetrated as long ago as 1909, and originally published by the Elm Tree Press in Woodstock, Vermont. It is here composed in Cochin types, with Cicero initials, and printed for the friends of Evelyn and Alexander Lawson." (Note: Alexander S. Lawson was a preeminent expert in typography. He was a professor of typography at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1947 to 1977, and was a leading author on typography, his most famous book being "Anatomy of a Typeface." He also authored "Printing Types; An Introduction," The Heritage of the Printer," and "Printing Types Pa." He died in 2002.)
