Gift inscription beneath that in different handwriting as follows: "To Harry, With Happy Birthday Greetings from Toa Who visited your class, today, At Longfellow Hall, on Appian Way, Who fears, though notes with care she'll edit, You'll give her lunch instead of credit. 5/3/47". Laid in is the New York Times Book Review of this book dated May 4, 1947. Book is in Very Good condition: the New York Times book review has been laid in between pages 94 and 95, and those pages are stained from the newspaper; edge wear; binding is tight, and pages are clean. No dust jacket.
