Goznak, 1965. This scarce publication is a portfolio containing 40 unbound plates of color reproductions by the Russian artist Konstantin Korovin. Each of the 40 plates is tipped in on grey heavy stock numbered pages. Also included is a 20-page booklet (of which 16 pages are numbered), which consists of a 15-page introduction by A. Kamensky entitled "In Search of Joy (The Easel Paintings of Konstantin Korovin)"; and a 2-page article by M. Saryan entitled "Reminiscences of Korovin". The portfolio case is in Very Good condition: some fading; small stain on rear. Prints are in Fine condition. Grey pages are in Very Good+ condition: some fading on edges; tips of 2 pages are creased. Booklet is in Very Good+ condition: crease in upper left corner on entire booklet; slight age discoloration. Not ex-library.
