Book is in Very Good+ condition - some edge wear. Contains material originally published in magazine form as Amazing Spider-Man #21-43 and Amazing Spider-Man Annual # 2 and 3. From the rear cover: "While attending a demonstration in radiology, high school student Peter Parker was bitten by a spider which had been exposed to radioactive rays. Learning he had gained great spider-like powers, Parker donned a costume and became the amazing Spider-man. The Denver Post Corporation, Denver, CO, 1984. Inscribed by author on title page as follows: "For Herrick Roth with admiration and best wishes [signed] Mike Keefe". (Note: Herrick Roth has been a teacher union leader, state legislator, public policy consultant, and community activist in Colorado.). Book is in Very Good condition: some edge wear; cover curling a bit at the corner; a little cover wear and edge wear; binding is tight and square and pages are clean and bright. Laid in is a newspaper cartoon "Cold Facts Ave" by Mike Keefe from 1984. Book is oblong, measuring about 7" high by about 10" wide.
